Destination Downtown, also owned by Jody Smith, is a distinctive small event venue in downtown Bismarck. Drawing on over twenty-five years of experience in bridal wear and event planning, Jody recognized the need for a small, intimate venue in the area for various special occasions.
In 2020, she brought this vision to life. A 1,500 square foot area in the Bridal N’ More building was transformed into a one-of-a-kind event space. The renovation included restoration of the original hardwood floors and exposed brick walls, reviving the historic character of the venue.
Destination Downtown can host up to 70 guests and is a unique and affordable venue for micro weddings, bridal and baby showers, graduation parties, rehearsal dinners, pop-up shops, fashion shows, photography studio, and corporate events. Guests can choose their own decorator and caterer, or do it themselves.
