Sara Christianson, a Mandan native and CPA of 18 years, has turned her passion for woodworking into a thriving business with Board & Brush Creative Studio in Bismarck. After working with barn wood from her family farm, Sara discovered Board & Brush during a search for DIY workshops and knew it would be a perfect fit for her family and the community.
Board & Brush Bismarck offers a unique DIY paint and sip experience, where participants create custom wooden decor pieces while enjoying a glass of wine. With guidance from skilled instructors, customers learn techniques like sanding, staining, and painting. The corporate office collaborates with top graphic designers to offer farmhouse and vintage designs, and a custom stencil process allows personalization with names, monograms, or special dates. As the only Board & Brush studio in North Dakota, Sara’s location offers a creative and memorable experience like no other.
